Started in early 2007, the campaign focuses on the vast number of Nashville residents, as well as the surrounding counties, that are looking for sustainable resources in their everyday lives. Whether it’s saving energy, eating healthy or living green, this web site is a resource for you.
There are many neat features on the site, including: local green blogs, syndicated national green news, Nashville business spotlights, and the latest issue of the Green Living Journal. Who is behind Greener Nashville?
iDesign Inc.iDesign is a local Nashville web development and creative marketing firm that developed the site initially along with Moses Maxen, a local sustainability activist. iDesign provides regular maintenance to the site, although it is the community that is leaned on for most of the site content. The company strives to work with environmental and sustainable companies any chance it gets.
Center for Holistic EcologyStarted by Jennifer English, the Center for Holistic Ecology is a supporter and partner of Greener Nashville. The Center is also a primary sponsor of Greener Tennessee, and very active in the Tennessee Environmental Council.
